Hi! I’m Chris. I’ve been creating and eating spicy foods for a long time. I am an avid gardener and dedicate a little more of my backyard to the garden space every year. I especially enjoying growing heirloom tomatoes.
As long as I have been gardening, I have also been canning salsa and juices and giving them away as gifts to friends, family, and coworkers. A few years ago I added extra hot peppers to my garden and started making fermented hot sauce in addition to the salsa.
For years I gave away gifts in plain bottles with “salsa” written in marker. I decided that it would be fun to have a “brand name” for my hot sauce so I combined my two favorite hobbies (gardening and building robots) into one awesome name. And Robots Love Hot Sauce was born!
The sauces have been a fun family activity from the beginning. My two daughters create all the artwork for the labels and earn a little extra spending money for their efforts!
